Emily Norris

Emily Norris has extensive experience in community and communications engagement, currently serving as the Major Projects Engagement Partner at TasNetworks since August 2018. Emily has held various key roles at TasNetworks, including Community Engagement Ops Lead for North West Transmission Developments and Engagement Specialist for Project Marinus. Prior to this, Emily worked as a Communications Advisor at Tasmanian Ports Corporation and as a Volunteer Communications Coordinator for the Hobart Anzac Day Commemorative Committee. Additional experience includes serving as a Communications Officer with the National Heart Foundation of Australia and as a Media Officer at Launceston City Council. Emily began their career as an Associate Consultant at Font Public Relations. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications and Behavioural Science from the University of Tasmania, obtained between 2005 and 2007.
