Marcus Excell

Marcus Excell brings extensive experience in network risk, assurance, and asset performance within the telecommunications sector. As the Leader of Network Risk and Assurance at TasNetworks since July 2014, Marcus has successfully guided teams in analyzing system performance and developing an asset risk framework that balances cost, risk, and reliability. Previous roles at TasNetworks include Business Excellence Project Lead, where Marcus facilitated business process improvement, and Asset Strategy Engineer, leading telecommunications asset integration into transmission processes. Prior experience at Transend Networks included developing telecommunications strategies, managing asset portfolios, and overseeing telecommunications network designs. Marcus holds a Master of Business Administration from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tasmania.
