Leebrian E. Gaskins

LeeBrian E. Gaskins, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Associate Vice President of IT/CIO at the University of Houston-Clear Lake since February 2020, and previously held the position of Assistant Vice President of Information Technology/CIO. Additionally, Gaskins is currently the Parliamentarian for the Texas Association of Black Personnel in Higher Education and serves as Treasurer for the Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communications. Since January 2018, Gaskins has acted as an Executive Advisor for the Center for Technology, promoting policy initiatives in technology and innovation. Notable prior roles include Associate VP for Information Technology/CIO at Texas A&M International University, where oversight included a large technical staff and significant budget management, as well as various reviewer positions for academic journals focused on technology and business. Gaskins holds a Ph.D. in International Business Administration, an MBA in Information Technology, and degrees in Technology Education and Psychology from West Virginia University.
