Emily Welch

Emily Welch has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Emily began their career as a Graduate Student at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003 and completed their studies in 2009. Emily then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2015. During this time, they focused on scientific research.

In 2015, Emily joined Tasso, Inc. as a Scientist and later became the Head of R&D in 2019. Their tenure at Tasso is ongoing, and they have been instrumental in leading research and development efforts. Emily Welch obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics and Chemistry from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Emily then pursued further education at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacology, completing their studies from 2003 to 2009.
