Lauren Leggett has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Lauren started their career as a Social Media Advertising Intern at Green Products Global in 2009. Lauren then worked as a Public Relations Intern at Christie Communications in 2010, where they gained experience in creating press outreach lists and handling follow-ups. In 2011, Lauren worked as a Program Leader at Boys & Girls Clubs of America, where they developed and taught interactive lesson plans for children grades 7-9.

From 2012 to 2015, Lauren worked at Guthy|Renker, starting as a Public Relations & Social Media Coordinator and later becoming a Public Relations & Social Media Specialist. In these roles, they managed social media strategies, developed and led digital video strategies, and created original YouTube series. Lauren also had the opportunity to work with top influencers and manage outreach for PR campaigns.

In 2012, Lauren also worked at Green Living Project as a Marketing & Outreach Intern and as a Mobile Tour Coordinator. Here, they increased submissions for a Student Film Project contest through grassroots outreach and managed a partnership with Green Shorts Film Festival to increase distribution and awareness.

In 2015, they joined Fullscreen Media as a Social Media Strategist, where they developed and executed social media strategies, cultivated creator relationships, and increased audience and engagement for the launch of Fullscreen's SVOD platform.

Lauren's most recent work experience has been with Tastemade, starting as a Managing Editor in 2016. Lauren then moved up to become a Director of Content & Programming, leading the social media strategy and programming for Tastemade's Food vertical. Later, they became a General Manager, Social, leading a team of 10 and being responsible for Tastemade's social channels. Their most recent role at Tastemade is the Head of Content, Social, where they are in charge of the company's community and content strategy. Throughout their various roles at Tastemade, they have played a crucial role in growing Tastemade's social presence and audience.
