Gerald Diep-Tran

Software Engineer, Backend at Tatari

Gerald Diep-Tran is an experienced software engineer. Gerald began their career in 2014 as an Engineering Intern at SRI Research Institute. In 2017, they joined UCLA Club Archery as a Club Member, Treasurer, and VP. In 2018, they became a Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where they used C++ to locate and eliminate critical cyber-security flaws, ported existing application from 32 to 64 bit, and refactored preexisting Javascript code base to reduce bloat and increase overall efficiencies by 5%. In 2022, they will join Tatari as a Software Engineer, Backend.

Gerald Diep-Tran obtained their High School Diploma from Mission Hills High School in 2017. Gerald also obtained certifications from USA Archery in 2017 as a Member/Competitor, and in 2018 as a Level II NTS Archery Instructor. In 2015, they became a Member of the National Honor Society and in 2014 they became a Scholar of the California Scholarship Federation. Gerald also studied Computer Science through Khan Academy from 2015 to 2017. Finally, they earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2017 to 2021.
