Jeffrey Stamm has over 25 years of experience in the software engineering field. Jeffrey began their career in 1993 at Electronic Book Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer/Project Lead. In this role, they built a document conversion engine in C++ to convert various document formats to SGML and was a key contributor to the design and implementation of DynaBase, an award-winning XML content management and dynamic content delivery platform.
In 1996, Jeffrey joined Inso Corporation as a Principal Software Engineer and Project Leader. Jeffrey was responsible for shipping several releases of the DynaBase XML content management platform.
In 1999, Jeffrey co-founded ThinkShare, a venture-backed startup in the mobile application space. Jeffrey helped to raise over $5M in angel and venture funding and developed patented xml/xslt technology that enabled rapid development of mobile applications with bi-directional synchronization to corporate data stores.
In 2004, Jeffrey joined Ensequence as a Senior Software Engineer. Jeffrey introduced Agile practices including short iterations and test driven development using nUnit and designed and implemented an application to compile and package interactive television (ITV) applications.
In 2005, Jeffrey became the Vice President of Engineering at Monsoon Inc. where they were responsible for all aspects of development and delivery of Monsoon Marketplace Selling Platform.
In 2011, Jeffrey co-founded Vizify and served as the CTO. Jeffrey pioneered the use of personal data visualization to enable consumers to instantly transform their social media data into a dynamic mobile & web-friendly "graphical bio" to showcase the best of themselves to the people searching for them online.
In 2014, Jeffrey joined Yahoo as a Principal Software Engineer. Jeffrey ported and integrated Vizify's core technology into Yahoo's node. js stack and developed a framework to extract and normalize finance, sports, news, and lifestyle data from disparate sources for use in their visualization engine.
In 2016, Jeffrey became a Technical Advisor for HBO's hit show "Silicon Valley". Jeffrey consulted on technical aspects of various storylines and created code and design assets that appeared in several episodes.
In 2017, Jeffrey joined Tatari as a Director Of Engineering, Senior Engineering Manager, and Staff Software Engineer.
Jeffrey Stamm attended The Williams School from 1984 to 1988. Jeffrey then went on to earn an AB in Computer Science from Brown University between 1988 and 1993.
