Joellen Carter

JoEllen Carter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. JoEllen is currently the Director of Quality Engineering at Taulia. Prior to this, they held various roles at Olo, including Director of Engineering for both Platform Engineering and Quality Engineering, as well as QA Manager and Senior Software QA Engineer. Before Olo, JoEllen worked as a Tester at Pivotal Labs and held roles at VersionOne, KaplanIT Learning, VCG Inc., TransParent Systems, Grizzard Marketing, and Science Applications International Corporation, with responsibilities ranging from Agile Tester and Manager of Quality and Community to Senior QA Engineer and QA Engineer/Technical Writer.

JoEllen Carter attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. JoEllen later pursued a Master of Technical and Professional Communication degree from Southern Polytechnic State University, completing their studies between 1994 and 1996.
