Nathan Sykes

Nathan Sykes is currently a Senior GIS Analyst / Developer at Tauranga City Council since June 2021. Nathan is also the founder of Blackbeard GIS, a geospatial consultancy specializing in spatial data analysis and presentation. Prior to their current roles, Nathan held positions such as GIS & Data Acquisition Technician at GPS-it Precision Land Mapping and Senior Geospatial Specialist at Auckland Council. Nathan's background includes a Master of Science in Ocean Remote Sensing from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Science from the University of Plymouth.
