Vice President Of Operations & Engineering at Taurex Drill Bits

Casey Kitagawa has a strong background in the drilling industry, with experience in various roles at multiple companies. Starting in 2006 at Smith International, Casey held positions as a Field Sales Representative and later as a Sales Engineer. In 2008, Casey joined Ulterra Drilling Technologies, where they progressed from a Field Sales Representative to a Senior Account Representative and then to a District Manager. Casey's responsibilities at Ulterra included managing sales districts and introducing new products to the United States shale play curves. In 2014, Casey joined Drilformance as the Team Lead for the US Applications Engineering Group, where they focused on building a world-class application engineering group and expanding Drilformance's PDC bit Arsenal. Following that role, Casey became the Global Applications Engineering Director, leading a talented group responsible for product development, technical support, and sales education. Most recently, in 2018, Casey became the Vice President of Operations & Engineering at Taurex Drill Bits, where they work to ensure efficient and effective delivery of custom solutions, improving communication between teams and accelerating problem solving.

Casey Kitagawa obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006.
