Hans Nieuwenhuis

Hans Nieuwenhuis has extensive experience in the field of environmental consultancy, serving as a Senior Consultant at Tauw bv since December 1988, where responsibilities include supporting and coordinating international environmental and ESG due diligence activities and engaging with the private equity community. Prior to this, Hans Nieuwenhuis was involved in significant international environmental due diligence projects and performed project management activities related to waste management, life cycle analysis, and environmental impact assessments. Earlier career experiences include a Technical Trainee role at Bührmann Tetterode focusing on paper and board production residue processing and a Researcher position at Wageningen University, conducting biotechnological studies on polysaccharide production. Hans Nieuwenhuis holds a Master of Science degree in Soil Science obtained from Wageningen University & Research.
