Jibbe J. Poppen

Jibbe J. Poppen has extensive experience in the water management sector, currently serving as Project Director and Business Manager for water authorities at Tauw Nederland since May 1995. Jibbe has progressed within TAUW from a design role to a senior management position, gaining diverse experience along the way. Since January 2021, Jibbe has held the title of Project Manager for Management System & Reporting as part of the TAUW Sustainability Program, focusing on compliance with EU regulations regarding Environmental, Social, and Governance issues across all TAUW countries. Active involvement in the Samenwerking WaterschapsWerken working group since 2016 highlights Jibbe's commitment to collaboration within the water construction and technology sectors. Prior to joining TAUW, Jibbe worked as a Civil Engineering Designer for DSBV Ingenieurs en Architecten from 1987 to 1995, specializing in construction and municipal planning. Jibbe holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Road and Water Construction from HTS Rotterdam, obtained in 1987.
