Susan Sollie

Susan Sollie is a Senior Advisor in Water Quality at Tauw bv, where expertise focuses on questions surrounding the Water Framework Directive (KRW) and general water quality since May 2007. Experience as an Ecological Bank Management Instructor at Wateropleidingen from September 2016 to July 2020 involved teaching critical aspects of site factors and the roles of riverbanks in ecological objectives. As a PhD candidate in Landscape Ecology at Utrecht University from September 2002 to April 2007, Susan's research addressed the impact of vegetated banks on water quality improvement. Earlier experience as an Ecologist at MNP (now part of RIVM) involved studying the relationship between plants and their habitats, multifunctional land use, and modeling. Susan holds a Master's degree in Biology from Utrecht University, obtained in 2000.
