Samantha Turk

Samantha Turk has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a Literary Intern role at Laura Dail Literary Agency in 2008. Samantha then held Editorial Intern roles at The Agency Group and Regina Ryan Agency in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2012, Samantha took on the role of Assistant Manager at Buunni, where they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of seven, as well as overseeing logistics, inventory, purchasing, and the POS system. In 2017, Samantha held two roles simultaneously at Makomi, Senior Operations Manager and Customer Experience Manager. That same year, they also took on a Sales Representative role at Main Street Hub. Finally, in 2021, Samantha became the Internal Compliance Associate at Tawkify. Additionally, since 2013, they have been the Founding and continuing Fiction Editor of No Tokens Journal, a literary journal that has been praised in Time Out New York.

Samantha Turk obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence College between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and Creative Writing from Binghamton University between 2006 and 2009. Samantha also holds a Food Handlers License.
