Gary Hawthorne

Gary Hawthorne has extensive experience in the creative field, with their most recent role being the Director of Creative at TaxAct since November 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Creative Director at Publicis Hawkeye from July 2011 to October 2020. Hawthorne also served as the Vice President/Creative Director at Blanchard Schaefer Advertising & Public Relations from February 2001 to March 2011. Gary began their career as a Jr. Art Director at Gleason Calise Associates in 1992 and has since held various senior art director and creative director positions at companies such as Grey Worldwide, Epsilon, The Wyatt Group, Meyer & Johnson Advertising, and Marketing Continuum.

Gary Hawthorne attended Texas A&M University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing.
