Robert McCaffrey

Robert McCaffrey is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at TaxZap, where responsibilities include leading the engineering and product organization for next-generation tax returns. Previously, Robert was the Founding Engineer at Xelda, overseeing software architecture and the engineering organization. Robert's career includes a position as a Software Engineer at Inscribe, where contributions focused on combating application fraud through innovative technologies. Early career roles included engineering positions at Toast, Inc., Oath, and AOL, alongside founding Grinds Dublin, an online tutoring platform. Robert holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin, as well as international academic experience from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
