Eric Peabody has a diverse and extensive work experience in the architecture and design industry. Eric started their career as an Intern Architect at David Baker, Architects in 2001 and then moved to Kwan Henmi Architects as an Intern Architect for a few months. In 2002, they joined The Design Partnership as a Project Architect, focusing on design for science and high-tech healthcare. At The Design Partnership, they gained valuable experience in improving project delivery methods and making a positive impact on society through their work. Since 2013, Eric has been working at Taylor Design as a Principal and Project Director. In this role, they have specialized in complex interventional and imaging platforms in healthcare projects, particularly in California. Their extensive experience has equipped him with a highly detailed building code and constructability skillset that they apply to their planning work.
Eric Peabody attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture. In 2012, they briefly attended the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, focusing on Laboratory Design: Health & Safety Considerations but did not obtain a degree.
Additionally, Eric Peabody has obtained various certifications over the years. In 2006, they received the LEED AP certification from the Green Building Certification Institute. In 2008, they became a licensed Architect in California through the California Architects Board. In 2009, they obtained the NCARB certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. In 2010, they obtained the Architect license in both Arizona from the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration and Washington from the State of Washington.
