Shane Hunt

Shane Hunt has a diverse range of work experience. Shane started their career as a Bar Staff at Lodge Bar in 2010, followed by a role as a Wine Waiter at Chester Race Company Ltd from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they worked as a Research Analyst Intern at Diamonds in Africa, where they conducted research and compiled reports on various topics related to the diamond industry. In 2012, they completed an internship at PwC in the Government and Public Services division, gaining insight into partner meetings, audits, and client proposals. From 2013 to 2016, Shane worked at Deloitte UK as an FS Audit Assistant Manager, specializing in building societies, asset management, and alternative lenders. Shane also gained experience in Client Asset (CASS) regulations and securities and investment valuations. Starting in 2013, Shane joined Rare Pink as a Financial Controller and later became the CFO. During their time at Rare Pink, they were responsible for financial reporting, investor relations, and international operations. In 2016, Shane became a CFO and Founder at Taylor & Hart. Additionally, they were an Alumni at Techstars in 2016.

Shane Hunt completed their education at two institutions. From 2002 to 2009, they attended The Catholic High School in Chester, although a specific degree or field of study is not provided. Later, from 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Masters in Physics (MPhys) at The University of Manchester, specializing in Physics.

In terms of additional certifications, Shane obtained the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) from the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) in January 2017.
