Travis Degooijer

Travis deGooijer is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in network, server, and storage systems management. Currently serving as Manager - IT at Tbaytel since April 2016, Travis oversees the Network and Server, Database Administrator, and Helpdesk teams. Previous roles at Tbaytel include IT Planner and Network and Server Technician, where responsibilities encompassed maintaining long-term IT infrastructure plans and supporting various systems, including virtualization and SAN storage. Prior to Tbaytel, Travis worked at IBM Canada Ltd. for 15 years, initially as a Remote Technical Support Specialist focusing on IBM storage devices and later as System Support Representative - Team Lead leading a team in coordinating service activities in Thunder Bay. Travis holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from SIAST Palliser Campus.
