Sophie Kharazishvili

Sophie Kharazishvili serves as the Head of the Sanctions Control Division at TBC since June 2023, having previously held the position of Senior Lawyer at Bank of Georgia from April 2021 to June 2023. With experience as an Experienced Compliance Auditor, Legal Advisor at Orbital Gaming, and Corporate Lawyer for Nexus Group Enterprises, Sophie has demonstrated expertise in compliance, legal advisory, and risk assessment within the gaming and financial sectors. In earlier roles, including as a Legal Assistant at the Georgian Trade Union Confederation and an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Sophie gained valuable insights into labor law and international legal frameworks. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Business Law from The University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Laws from Tbilisi State University, alongside specialized training in Intellectual Property from HarvardX.
