Brian Pearson

Brian Pearson has extensive work experience in tax management and tax planning. Brian started their career as a Tax Compliance Manager at Ernst & Young in 1996 and later worked as a Federal Tax Manager at Sprint from 1999 to 2005. From 2005 to 2015, they served as the Director of International Tax Planning at Kansas City Southern, where they were responsible for domestic, international, and cross-border tax planning. During their tenure, they successfully developed repatriation plans and implemented a planning idea that resulted in significant cost savings. In 2015, Brian joined NextEra Energy Resources as a Tax Manager and then moved to TBC Corporation in 2017, where they currently hold the position of Senior Director of Tax.

Brian Pearson attended Central High School in St. Joseph, MO from 1981 to 1985. During this time, they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. After completing high school, they enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia and obtained a Master's degree in Accounting. Brian attended this university from 1986 to 1990.
