Barbara Mendoza Cano

Barbara Mendoza Cano serves as Vice President of Legal/Compliance and VP Corporate Counsel at TBC de Mexico, where responsibilities include leading cultural change within the organization, designing legal strategies, overseeing legal and corporate matters in Mexico and Guatemala, and managing relationships with law firms and authorities. With prior experience as Director of Legal at GPO Vallas, Barbara directed a team of lawyers and coordinated legal services across eight Latin American countries. Barbara's extensive background at Bacardi includes roles as Director of Legal & External Affairs and Director of Legal and Institutional Relations, providing legal advice to corporate governance bodies and recovering overdue receivables. Barbara holds a degree in Law with a focus on contracts and corporate issues from Universidad Nuevo Mundo.
