Masum Hasan

Masum Hasan is a highly experienced broadcast journalist and educator with a robust background in journalism and human development. Currently serving as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at TBN24 since December 2019, Masum has previously held the position of Newsroom Editor at Mohona Television Ltd. from April 2012 to December 2019, where significant expertise was developed in communication strategies and media operations. Experience as a Guest Lecturer at The Millennium University from October 2010 to October 2019 reflects a commitment to teaching on topics related to gender and development. Earlier roles as a newsroom editor and sub-editor at various television channels and publications have equipped Masum with comprehensive knowledge of both national and international issues. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Science in Women and Gender Studies and a Master of Social Science in Social Sciences from the University of Dhaka.
