Christian Martorano's work experience began in 1995 as an Auto Mechanic specializing in high-performance and motorsports. From 1998 to 2004, they worked as a Lab Technician and participated in Research & Development at Compex Corp. From 2004 to 2006, they served as a Materials // Ceramics Engineer at Compex Corp. Then, from 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Ceramics Process Engineer at Franklin Fuel Cells. Martorano joined TBT Group Inc. in 2007, where they served as a Materials & Process Engineer and Pilot Plant Manager for piezoelectric materials development, energy harvesting, and actuator production until 2010. Martorano returned to TBT Group Inc. in 2014 as a Senior Ceramic Materials & Process Engineer, responsible for research and development of various ceramic materials, formulations, and processes. In 2022, they became a Technical Advisor at an undisclosed company.

Christian Martorano earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Drexel University from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Engineering at Rowan College at Burlington County from 1997 to 1999. Before their time at Rowan College, they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from Universal Technical Institute, Inc. in 1995 and 1996. Christian attended Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ from 1991 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Christian Martorano has obtained several certifications. In November 2012, they completed Level 2 of the Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) program at Greene, Tweed, & Co. In May 2012, they completed the Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) program at Litts Quality Technologies. Furthermore, in January 2012, Christian obtained the SolidWorks Essentials certification from Prism Engineering, Inc.
