Peter Van Dyke, CPA, CMA has extensive experience in the finance and investment industry. Peter began their career at RBC as a Branch Administration Officer, where they managed administrative and personnel responsibilities for the branch. Peter then moved on to Lloyds Bank as an Account Officer, managing a diverse portfolio of mid-market commercial accounts.

Peter's career progressed to working at Club Aviva, where they served as Business Manager and provided leadership on all business matters for the children's sports facility. Peter was responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial planning.

Following their time at Club Aviva, Peter joined Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) as a Survey Administrator. Peter supervised data collection for the Greater Vancouver and Sunshine Coast housing and rental markets, compiled market information for publication, and disseminated market analysis to the public.

Peter then transitioned to Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, where they held multiple roles. As a Financial Analyst and Finance Manager, they oversaw the corporate group's institutional-sized investment portfolio and managed various financial responsibilities, including financial statement analysis, credit compliance for Canadian dealerships, and cash flow management.

Most recently, Peter worked at Deeley Group as the Director of Investments. In this role, they scrutinized and designed the institutional-sized investment portfolio, focusing on equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private debt, infrastructure, mortgages, real estate, and precious metals. Peter developed a performance measurement system for risk and return and implemented a diversified portfolio aligned with Deeley's risk appetite.

Peter's current position is with TCap Private Equity as the Director of Investments. Peter supports a family office and their interest in TCap Private Equity, conducting portfolio reviews and analyzing private and common equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private debt, and real estate holdings. Peter evaluates portfolio performance, risk and return, and ensures alignment with the family's long-term goals.

Peter Van Dyke, CPA, CMA has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. Peter then attended the UBC Sauder School of Business in 1991, where they completed the Urban Land Economics Diploma Programme with options in Appraisal and Real Estate Management. In the same year, Peter also took courses in Leasing and Management of Office Buildings at the Institute of Real Estate Management and Mortgages at UBC Sauder School of Business.

In 1996, Peter pursued further education at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) and obtained the CMA (CPA) degree in Accounting, which they completed from 1996 to 2003. In 1988, they earned a Certificate in the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.

Later on, in 2013, Peter attended an Executive Leadership Program at Queen's University, focusing on enhancing leadership skills. Peter also obtained the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement at the CFA Institute in 2014, specifically at the CIPM Level 1. Most recently, in 2020, Peter obtained the CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investment Certificate from the CAIA Association.
