Thomas Bougher

Thomas Bougher is an accomplished professional in the fields of mechanical engineering and energy efficiency, currently serving as Associate Director at 2050 Partners, focusing on decarbonization projects. As CTO and Co-Founder of TCPoly, Inc., Thomas has innovated in 3D printing of heat conducting plastics for the electronics industry. Previously, Thomas held roles as Director of Applied Research at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, where efforts were directed toward advanced glazing initiatives and carbon accounting, and as Manager at the Heat Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology, overseeing a thermal measurement and design lab. Thomas's early career included significant engineering roles at Southwest Research Institute and the University of Texas at Austin, alongside research experience at Purdue University, culminating in a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
