Sarah Shumpert

Sarah Shumpert serves as the Associate Vice President for Organizational Development and Planning at Tri-County Technical College, where responsibilities include enhancing alignment between college strategies and employee behaviors, managing change, and designing interventions to improve institutional performance. With experience as the Director of Academic Development and the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Support at the same institution, Sarah has focused on creating systems for academic program enhancement and ensuring curriculum development aligns with student experiences. Additionally, as an independent consultant since 2009, Sarah specializes in facilitating group processes related to strategic planning and team building, utilizing methods such as Appreciative Inquiry and Gallup StrengthsFinder. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Higher Education and an MLIS from the University of South Carolina.
