Christopher Cooney

Christopher Cooney has a strong background in the insurance industry, with extensive experience in various roles at TD Insurance, RBC Insurance, and Allstate Canada. Christopher began their career as an Actuarial Analyst at Allstate Canada in 1991 and worked there until 1997. In 1997, they joined RBC Insurance as Vice President, holding positions in Pricing, Corporate Underwriting, and Info Services for almost 19 years. In 2016, they transitioned to TD Insurance, where they held the position of Vice President in Pricing until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, they served as Vice President, Modelling and Analytics, and currently holds the role of Vice President, Data Analytics and Modelling at TD Insurance. Overall, Cooney brings a wealth of experience and expertise in insurance pricing, analytics, and modelling to their current role.

Christopher Cooney received their Bachelor of Math degree from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Christopher also obtained the certifications of Associate from the Society of Actuaries in 2010, Fellow from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 1999, and Fellow from the Casualty Actuarial Society in 1999.
