Peter Thorn

Peter Thorn is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience at TD Insurance since 2009, currently serving as Senior Manager of Regulatory Enablement, where the focus is on ensuring compliance across various insurance product lines. Previous roles at TD Insurance include Senior Manager in Regulatory Controls and Life & Health Product Operations, demonstrating a strong capability in regulatory functions and strategic stakeholder collaboration. Additionally, Peter led operations teams in National and Ontario Accident Benefit divisions. Prior to TD Insurance, Peter held leadership positions at HB Group Insurance and Crawford and Company. Peter began a career in insurance as Director of Claims at Canada Life’s Casualty Insurance subsidiary. Education includes studies at Sheridan College from 1979 to 1982.
