Ivan Samkov

Ivan Samkov, FRM, currently serves as the Manager of Enterprise Market Risk Control at TD Securities, where responsibilities include designing enterprise market risk stress testing and conducting internal and regulatory stress tests. Prior to this role, Ivan held the position of Head of Risk Management Methodology at FINAM, leading the implementation of regulatory changes and developing risk assessment models. Ivan has experience in financial risk management, previously executing daily margin calls for client portfolios and implementing automated systems to enhance efficiency. Earlier in the career, Ivan operated as a financial consultant focusing on multi-strategy asset management and held a position as an Electronics Development Engineer at JSC MDB "Compass." Ivan obtained an MBA in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Schulich School of Business, along with master's degrees in Economics and Engineering Physics from the Higher School of Economics and National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, respectively.
