Cory van Beek

Cory Van Beek is a Senior Electrical Engineer at TDA Research since June 2021 and has concurrently worked at GE Healthcare as an ARC Electrical Engineering Co-op and Contractor since January 2020. Key achievements include leading a standardization effort for Xilinx platforms to enhance product efficiencies, authoring IP design specifications implemented in VHDL, and introducing Agile workflows for FPGA design. Previous experience includes a Tools Developer Internship at Dassault Systèmes, where automation systems and analytics dashboards were developed, as well as a V&V Engineering Co-op role at GE Healthcare focused on testing medical devices and facilitating software tools. Cory also founded GiftThis, LLC, creating a wish list app, and has coordinated outreach initiatives during an internship at First English Lutheran Church. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
