Jun Liu

Jun Liu, CFA has over 20 years of experience in the finance industry. Jun is currently working as a Data Science Director at TDR Capital. Previously, they held roles such as Head of Data Science and Data Science Lead at M&G plc. Before that, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at both C-Quadrat Investment Group and Inverewe Capital. Jun also worked as a Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst/Financial Engineer at C-Quadrat Investment Group. Jun started their career as a Convertible Bond Analyst at Morgan Stanley and a Quantitative Risk Analyst at BP. Jun also gained experience as an Intern in financial control at Allianz Insurance and risk control at Dresdner Bank AG.

Jun Liu, CFA has a Master's degree in Economics from Heidelberg University, which was obtained from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Jun Liu holds an MSc degree in Operational Research/Applied Math from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), completed from 2003 to 2004. Jun Liu has also obtained several additional certifications, including the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2007 and various specializations in machine learning and AI from institutions such as Oxford, University of Alberta, and deeplearning.ai. Jun Liu has also achieved a Second Dan Aikido rank from the Japanese Aikido Association.
