Alexis Benedict

Alexis Benedict, MPA, currently serves as the Stewardship Coordinator at the Houston Food Bank, starting in August 2023. Prior to this role, Alexis was a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University College of Architecture, where responsibilities included curating social media content and coordinating a Junior Scholar Workshop. Additional experience includes an internship with the Federal Aviation Administration focusing on recruitment and onboarding, and several positions at Teach For America, where Alexis managed alumni communications and event logistics. Alexis also held roles at the Jewish Federation of San Antonio, City Year, and other organizations, demonstrating a strong background in nonprofit management, education, and community outreach. Alexis holds a Master of Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University and has completed additional coursework in Nonprofit Management, Leadership, and Fundraising.
