Henry Fougere

Henry Fougere is an experienced software engineering professional with extensive expertise in full-stack web application development and technical leadership. Currently serving as the Director and Technical Lead at Teach For America since September 2007, Henry has significantly enhanced teacher admission, training, and support operations through the design and implementation of various web tools using technologies such as Java, Spring WebFlow, and PostgreSQL. Prior to this role, Henry worked as a freelance web developer and held positions at Agilysys, the American Thoracic Society, and the American Lung Association, where responsibilities included application development, system integration, and technical support. Henry holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Hunter College, obtained in 2002.
