Ahmad Smith

Ahmad Smith is a Business Development Manager at Upbeat. Prior to joining Upbeat's team, Ahmad spent his career in New Orleans charter schools. He was a founding kindergarten teacher, dean of instruction, and assistant principal at KIPP East Primary. During his time in schools, he coached and developed teachers to improve student outcomes. Ahmad holds a B.A from Southern University - New Orleans and an M.A. from Relay Graduate School of Education. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with his adorable goldendoodle, Beaux.
