Jesslyn Landgren

Jesslyn Landgren has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and environmental consulting.

Starting in 2022, they joined Teachable as a Senior Software Engineer I. Prior to Teachable, Jesslyn worked at Conveyor from 2021 to 2022, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Before Conveyor, they worked at Aptible from 2019 to 2021, first as a UX Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer.

From 2017 to 2019, Jesslyn was a Software Engineer & Team Lead at Insiten, where they were responsible for frontend and UI development using Angular. Jesslyn managed a team of two direct reports and organized sprints for teams of approximately five developers.

In 2017, they also worked at OneTrust as a Frontend Developer, contributing to the development of features in a single-page AngularJS application.

Prior to their software engineering roles, Jesslyn worked at Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. from 2011 to 2014 as an Associate Engineer II, focusing on environmental compliance and asset tracking.

Jesslyn also gained experience as a Corporate Environmental Services Intern at SCANA in 2009.

Furthermore, in 2008, Jesslyn worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they participated in a Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (SREU) and conducted research in the field of civil and environmental engineering.

Jesslyn Landgren obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between the years 2006 and 2010. In 2012 to 2014, they pursued non-degree studies in Biological and Agricultural Engineering as well as Geographic Information Systems at North Carolina State University. From 2014 to 2016, they engaged in non-degree coursework at the University of Iowa, specifically focusing on Geography & Geoinformatics as well as obtaining a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching. In 2016, they attended DigitalCrafts to study full-stack development. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in September 2017.
