Zhu Xiao has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career as a Consultant (Intern) at Lomonosov, where they worked from January 2009 to January 2011. They then worked as a Program Analyst (Intern) at the Community Impact Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis from February 2012 to March 2013. In September 2012, they also took on the role of a Program Analyst (Intern) at Beyond Housing, where they worked until May 2013.
In July 2012, Zhu Xiao started working as a Research Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis. They had multiple roles within the university, including working at the Social System Design Lab in the George Warren Brown School as a Research Assistant from January 2013 to September 2014, focusing on qualitative methods, health, and mental health. They also worked at the Center for Social Development from May 2012 to August 2013, conducting literature reviews on asset-building policies. Additionally, they served as a Research Assistant in the Geographic Information Systems Department from March 2012 to August 2014.
Next, Zhu Xiao joined Sheltering Arms in February 2015 as a Quality Improvement Manager, a role they held until November 2021. During their time at Sheltering Arms, they were responsible for managing quality improvement initiatives.
In May 2017, Zhu Xiao co-founded MonEval China and served as a Co-Founder. They were involved in the establishment and growth of the company until January 2022.

Zhu Xiao has a diverse education history. From 2007 to 2011, Zhu attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Zhu also holds certifications such as "Amazon Web Services Machine Learning Essential Training" from LinkedIn in January 2020, "SQL for Statistics Essential Training" from LinkedIn in May 2019, and "Fundamentals of Visualization with Tableau" from Coursera in January 2017. Additionally, Zhu obtained a "SAS Advanced Programming for SAS 9" certification from SAS in September 2014 and a "Model Thinking" certification from Coursera in May 2014.
