Max Schubert

Max Schubert has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Max started their career as a Senior Software Developer at Brivo Systems, where they were involved in software development, system administration, and network monitoring. Max then worked as a Senior Consultant at Vanward Technologies, where they worked on several contracts, including writing a client package for Verisign. Max also worked as a Lead Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology and General Dynamics AIS, where they were responsible for network monitoring, application performance analysis, and system integration. Max further gained experience as a Principal Software Engineer at Comcast, where they led a software development team and worked on projects such as web-based outage management tracking system and enterprise-level monitoring system. Max also worked as a Director of Engineering at Teachstone, where they managed engineering teams, developed security and privacy policies, and mentored leaders in agile methodologies. Max is currently working as a Senior Director of Engineering at Teachstone, leading security efforts, managing SRE and data engineering teams, and ensuring overall engineering quality. In addition to their professional experience, Max has also worked independently as an Open Source Developer and has served as an O'Reilly Instructor.

Max Schubert completed their high school education at Mt. Vernon High School from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a focus on music. Max later pursued higher education at James Madison University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music, specializing in the Music Industry field.

In addition to their formal education, Max Schubert has also obtained various certifications. These include the "UX Foundations: Accessibility" certification from LinkedIn, which they obtained in April 2021. In June 2020, they obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Cultivating Cultural Competence and Inclusion," "Developing Cross-Cultural Intelligence," "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence," "Leading with Emotional Intelligence," and "Unconscious Bias." In June 2019, they also acquired the "Cloud Native Twelve-Factor Applications" certification from LinkedIn.
