Allen Price has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Allen began their career in 1999 as a Human Resources Representative for OAO Technology Solutions, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Pomeroy. In this role, they supported the human resources needs of 300 divisional employees and successfully led the recruiting and staffing of 100+ professionals for 20 sites within a 30-day time period. Allen was eventually promoted to Manager, Human Resource Operations and Affirmative Action Manager, where they were responsible for leading employee relations, HRIS administration, new business transitions, affirmative action administration, and personnel recruiting, coaching, and mentoring functions for the federal government contracting division. In 2010, they joined Carney as President, Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Professional Services, and Chief Human Resources Officer. As Chief Human Resources Officer, they established a track record of effective change management utilizing the unique talents of employees to accomplish desired results, coached employees and leaders to achieve their career goals and organizational objectives, and led cultural and engagement transformation across multiple organizations. In 2012, they joined JAMTECH, Inc. as Executive Director, where they led development and growth of the non-profit organization to bring STEM opportunities to elementary, middle, and high school students across the DC Metro area and created the premier STEM focused on building an app in a day. In 2013, they joined MARi as Chief Culture and Talent Officer. In 2015, they joined the City of Alexandria, Virginia as Commissioner of the Alexandria Virginia Commission on Employment, where they connected government and business to enable effective workforce planning and high employment levels, and developed programs to improve training and increase opportunities for employment.

Allen Price's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they completed in 2016. From 2011 to 2013, they completed courses through Coursera. Allen also attended North Carolina State University from 1996 to 2002, studying Business Management. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2010, the Human Capital Strategist (HCS) from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in 2015, the SHRM-SCP from SHRM in 2015, and several facilitator certifications from FranklinCovey.
