Jesse Silvestri

Jesse Silvestri has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, they worked as a Media Director at Pine Springs Ranch - Summer Camp, where they led a team of videographers, photographers, and video editors to produce products for children attending the summer camp. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an Electronics Sales Floor Associate at Target. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an On-Site Computer Repair and Network Technician at Staples, providing customer support for Windows, Macintosh, iOS, and Android devices. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Help Desk Associate / Application Support Administrator at AutoFluent. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Cyber Network Operator | Network Administrator at the United States Marine Corps. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Special Operations Capabilities Specialist - Communications at U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Since 2019, they have been working as a Network Engineer / Operations Lead at Blackwatch International Corporation, where they designed and developed their VMware virtualization infrastructure and production environment. Jesse is currently working as a Lead Enterprise Architect at Technology, Automation, and Management (TeAM), Inc., where they direct the network engineering team in defining processes, best practices, policy compliance, and security.

Jesse Silvestri is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Western Governors University, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. Jesse has also obtained several certifications, including VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2021 from VMware in May 2021, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in April 2022, A+ CE from CompTIA in October 2018, Security + CE from CompTIA in July 2017, Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) from Cisco in December 2019, and is currently in progress of obtaining Cisco Certified Network Professional from Cisco.
