Ed Hallen is an experienced professional with a diverse background. Ed began their career in 2004 as a Business Consultant and Engineer at Applied Predictive Technologies. Ed then moved into the role of Engagement Manager before transitioning to Product Management, where they guided product and technology vision for a team of 15 engineers and consultants. In 2010, they served as a Summer Associate at Accel-KKR before joining Google as an Enterprise Business Development in 2011. In 2018, Ed co-founded Team Engine, a text-first HR and Operations platform for industrial SMB's. Ed also co-founded Klaviyo in 2012, where they have held the roles of Co-Founder, Chief Product Officer, CMO (interim), and Board Member. Klaviyo has raised $650M+ from Accel, Summit Partners and others.
Ed Hallen completed a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and Government from the University of Virginia in 2004. Ed then went on to receive an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2012.
