Melissa Flewelling

Melissa Flewelling has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Melissa is currently the Director of Development Operations at Team Rubicon, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Deputy Director of Development Operations at the same company starting in September 2019. From 2016 to 2019, Melissa worked as a Strategic Development and Impact Strategist Consultant. Before that, they were a Global Strategic Development Consultant at The Keep A Breast Foundation from 2012 to 2016. Melissa also has experience as a Development Associate & Lead Human Trafficking Case Manager at Freedom House from 2010 to 2011 and as an Assistant Director & HIV Project Coordinator at Women's Daytime Drop-In Center from 2008 to 2010. Melissa started their career as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Texas Woman's University in 2006 and as a Project Coordinator Intern at Mosaic Family Services, Inc. in 2006. Melissa's early experience includes roles as a Program Intern at The Women's Museum in 2004 and as a Project Intern at the Center for Survivors of Torture in 2003.

Melissa Flewelling completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology at Southern Methodist University from 2001 to 2003. Melissa then pursued their Master of Arts degree in Women's Studies at Texas Woman's University from 2004 to 2007.
