Jared McArthur

Jared McArthur is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Information Technology Manager for SysOps at the City of Round Rock since August 2017, following a role as a Systems Administrator in the same department. Jared owns Redtail Networks and Data Science and McArthur IT Consulting, specializing in network design, installation, and general consulting. As a Senior Engineer at Team Venti since April 2013, Jared has contributed significantly to various projects. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at TERC, LLC where Jared directed IT policy and implementation for venture capital and private equity projects, and roles in loss prevention management at Sportsman's Warehouse and Neiman Marcus. Jared holds a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate of Applied Science in LAN Administration with a focus on Security from Austin Community College.
