Dr. Jana Semrau-Brandt

Dr. Jana Semrau-Brandt, CIPP/E, serves as Senior Legal Counsel and Head of Commercial Law EMEA at TeamViewer since July 2022. Previously, Jana held the position of Counsel at Dentons from September 2018 to June 2022, specializing in IT, IP, and commercial law for clients in technology, media, and telecommunications. Jana's earlier experience includes roles as Inhouse Legal Counsel at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, Senior Associate at DLA Piper and Bird & Bird LLP, and various legal trainee and research positions. Jana's academic credentials include a Doctorate from the University of Münster and ongoing studies at Kozminski University, complemented by practical legal training completed at the Higher Regional Court Hamburg.
