Thomas Knauer-Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Thomas is currently working at TeamViewer as the Vice President of Software Development. Prior to this, they held positions at TeamViewer as the Director of R&D Mixed Reality and as the Team Lead for R&D 3D Mixed Reality.

In addition, Thomas has relevant experience in the automotive industry, having worked as a freelancer for BMW Group on their Master's Thesis. Thomas has also worked as a Co-Founder in the tech field at Real Liker, conducting research on object detection and machine learning for computer vision purposes.

Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Thomas gained experience as an intern and freelancer at IC3 - Innovation Centered Communication Consulting, where they assisted in workshops and project management. Thomas also conducted research and conceptualized interactive shopping windows.

Thomas began their career as a student at TU München, where they held various roles, including working as a tutor and a working student. Thomas was involved in projects related to automatic speech recognition, equipment modernization for laboratory experiments, and software development using MATLAB.

Thomas also gained internship experience at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunication.

Thomas Knauer-Arnold has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich, earned from 2008 to 2011. Thomas then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field from the Technical University of Munich from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they also obtained an ERASMUS exchange semester at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University in 2011 and an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore in 2013. Additionally, Thomas completed an Honors Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they were a Visiting Research Student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, in 2016, Thomas achieved certification in the Graduate TechFounders Accelerator program offered by TechFounders.
