Chris Twomey

Chris Twomey is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in cloud computing and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer at Teamwork since January 2022, Chris previously held the position of Staff Software Engineer at IBM from July 2015 to December 2021, where responsibilities included delivering core IBM Cloud products as native Kubernetes applications utilizing Go Operators. Prior to this, Chris contributed as a Software Engineer at IBM's Cloud Foundation Services, participating in an agile-focused team and utilizing the Spotify engineering framework. Chris's journey in software development began with an internship at IBM, where a proof of concept was developed to integrate streaming and batch analytics using Hadoop. Additionally, Chris has experience as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at University College Cork, supporting computer science courses. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from University College Cork.
