Marisol Hernandez

Marisol Hernandez is an accomplished director and mezzo-soprano with extensive experience in the performing arts. Currently serving as the Directora General at Teatro Municipal de Iquique since January 2024, Marisol has also held the position of Diseño y Producción de Espectáculos Culturales at the Municipal de Santiago - Ópera Nacional de Chile since February 1997, where responsibilities included direction of stage productions, producing concerts, and educational content. Marisol has performed as a solista in various concert seasons and opera productions across institutions such as the Universidad de Concepción and Universidad de Chile. Additionally, Marisol has a strong background in artistic direction, notably with Reina Midas Producciones and Ópera de Cámara de Chile. Educational credentials include degrees from Universidad de Chile and Universidad Mayor, along with specialized training in cultural management and impactful presentations.
