Alfonso Troz Umaña

Alfonso Troz Umaña has a comprehensive work experience in the field of database administration. Alfonso started their career at Panda Tech LA in 2012 as an Oracle DBA, where they were responsible for Oracle Linux installations and maintenance for Oracle Software, as well as Oracle VM knowledge, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. In 2015, they joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Database Administrator. Alfonso then moved on to Kareo in 2019, where they worked as an Oracle Database Administrator until 2022. Currently, Alfonso holds the position of Senior Oracle Database Administrator at Tebra, starting in June 2022.

Alfonso Troz Umaña has a solid education history in the field of Information Technology. Alfonso completed a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Later, they pursued further education and obtained a Licenciatura en Gestión de Recursos Tecnológicos (Bachelor's degree in Technology Resource Management) from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, studying there from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Alfonso Troz Umaña has several certifications from Oracle. In 2015, they became certified as an Oracle Database 11g Administrator Associate and also achieved certification as an Oracle Real Application Clusters 11g Implementation Specialist and an Oracle VM 3.0 for x86 Certified Implementation Specialist. In 2016, they obtained the Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional certification. In 2017, Alfonso achieved the Oracle Linux 6 Certified Implementation Specialist certification. Their most recent certification is the Oracle Database Administration 2019 Certified Professional, which they obtained in September 2021. Additionally, they hold certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Cloud Operations Certified Associate and the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate.
