Luca Valeggia's work experience includes various leadership roles in the technology and consulting industries. Luca started their career at Credit Suisse, where they worked in corporate center and operations for four years. Following that, they joined A.T. Kearney as a Manager, where they managed complex strategy and optimization projects for multinational companies. In 2012, they co-founded Vinearoom before joining Tecan in 2013. At Tecan, they held several positions including Director of Corporate Development, Vice President of Laboratory Automation and Consumables, and General Manager for Tecan Genomics. In their roles at Tecan, they were responsible for corporate strategy, M&A projects, and product development.
Luca Valeggia earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Management, Technology and Economics from ETH Zürich, from 2003 to 2005. Before that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel, from 1996 to 2000.
