David Heard

David Heard has had a diverse work experience. David started their career as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1994. After that, they worked as a Tour Management Assistant at MCA Records. In 1996, they became the Vice President of Governmental Affairs at the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. David then joined Kell Munoz Architects in 1997, where they held the position of VP Marketing and Associate until 2000. From 2000, David worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at SecureLogix Corp. In 2015, they became the CEO of Tech Bloc, and in 2017, they became the CEO of Botánica Music Festival.

David Heard completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. David later pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same university, studying from 1992 to 1994. Extending their education further, David attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2000 to 2002 and earned a Master's degree in Business Administration.
